Reservation
Can my spouse or friend also drive the rental car?
All drivers must be listed on the rental agreement. An additional driver can be registered, provided they are at least 24 years old and have held a valid driving licence for at least 3 years.
Can I rent an automatic car?
Yes. Our entire fleet consists of automatic transmission vehicles. You can check available cars on our website by selecting your rental dates.
How can I make a reservation?
You can book a car through our website by selecting your vehicle, rental dates and pick-up location. Alternatively, you can make a reservation by phone or WhatsApp at +90 533 844 10 00.
Delivery
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes. You must submit your cancellation request at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. Cancellations made within the final 24 hours and no-show reservations are handled according to the applicable rental terms.
Can I extend my rental period?
Yes. You may extend your rental period subject to vehicle availability. Please contact us before your current rental period expires to request an extension.
Can I pick up my rental car at Ercan Airport?
Yes. If you provide your flight details when making your reservation, we can arrange your vehicle pick-up at the airport. Ercan Airport is one of our designated pick-up locations.
Can you deliver the car to my hotel in Kyrenia?
Depending on availability, we can deliver your rental car to your hotel or another specified address. Please provide your accommodation details when booking so that we can arrange the delivery in advance.
Where can I pick up my rental car?
Our pick-up locations include Ercan Airport, Kyrenia, Nicosia, Famagusta, Güzelyurt and İskele. Vehicle pick-up and return in Kyrenia are free of charge.
Return
What fuel level should the car have when I return it?
You are expected to return the vehicle with the same fuel level as when you collected it. If the car is returned with less fuel, a charge for the missing fuel may apply in accordance with the rental terms.
Rental Terms
What is the minimum age to rent a car from ZMN Rent a Car?
Drivers must be at least 24 years old and have held a valid driving licence for at least 3 years. Additional requirements may apply to premium vehicle categories.
Which documents do I need to collect my rental car?
You must bring a valid driving licence and your national ID card or passport. Additional verification or a payment guarantee may be required depending on your reservation.
Can visitors from Turkey rent a car?
Yes. A valid Turkish driving licence is accepted in Northern Cyprus. Visitors who meet our minimum age and driving licence requirements can rent a car from us.
Is there a mileage limit?
Mileage limits may vary depending on the vehicle category and rental period. Your included mileage allowance and any additional mileage charges will be communicated before you collect the vehicle.
Insurance & Support
Can I return the car to a different location?
Yes. Returning the vehicle to a different location may be possible, subject to operational availability. Please specify your pick-up and return locations separately when making your reservation.
What happens if I return the car late?
The vehicle must be returned at the date and time specified in the rental agreement. Additional charges may apply for late returns. Please contact us in advance if you expect to be late.
Is a security deposit or pre-authorisation required?
A security deposit or pre-authorisation may be required depending on the vehicle category and reservation terms. The applicable amount and refund process will be communicated to you before the rental is finalised.
Are the rental cars insured?
All vehicles in our fleet are insured in accordance with applicable legal requirements. Responsibilities in the event of damage, insurance excesses and exclusions are specified in the rental agreement.
Can I drive my rental car into Southern Cyprus?
Taking a rental car into Southern Cyprus is subject to specific insurance and legal requirements. If you plan to cross the border, please contact us before booking to confirm whether it is permitted and whether additional insurance is required.
What should first-time drivers in Northern Cyprus know?
Traffic in Northern Cyprus drives on the left, and vehicles generally have right-hand steering. Take extra care at roundabouts, junctions and car park exits, especially during your first few drives. Always follow local traffic rules and speed limits.
Can I request a baby or child car seat?
Baby and child car seats may be available upon request, subject to availability. We recommend specifying your requirements when making your reservation, especially during busy periods.
